good girls?

A while back the girls were playing with acorns in the backyard

This led me to tell them all about gumnuts, which are totally NOT like Aussie versions of acorns 

I used to play with gumnuts as a kid and was mad about SNUGGLEPOT & CUDDLEPIE

I’ve told the girls all the Snugglepot & Cuddlepie stories I can remember

Now they are obsessed dying to get their hands on anything to do with S & C

So I’m totally going to BRIBE them 

I’ve told them if they can be good for their Daddy until I get home, I will see if I can find a S & C book for them while I’m in Australia

I asked them this morning how they’ve been doing in the ‘good behaviour’ department

Miss 5: I cleaned the toy room and my bathroom AND my bedroom today mummy

Me: Wow – that’s fantastic. Looks like I’ll be getting you a Snugglepot & Cuddlepie book before I leave

Miss 5: AWESOME!

Talking to Miss 3

Me: So have you been good for Daddy?

Miss 3: Ummmmm

Me: Do you think I should get you a Snugglepot & Cuddlepie book?

Miss 3: Ummmmmm

Me: Sounds like maybe I shouldn’t

Miss: Well, maybe you should just get me a little book mummy

Translation:

“I’ve been a total arsehole!”
