Some people have said I must be crazy to leave the American summer to travel to Australia in the middle of winter

Especially since I live in Chicago

Where it’s bloody frigid freezing for a big chunk of the year

But this is the time when the weather is actually pretty amazing in Chi-town

 

But I’m not as silly as I look

Specifically, it’s Coogee Beach, where we’re staying, in winter

And it’s pretty bloody beautiful here right now

We’re all a little tired and jetlagged

And the girls are totally kicking my arse as far as energy goes

That’s where Nanna comes in

The girls are all about Nanna

They want Nanna to push the stroller

Nanna to play with them at the park

And they also wanted one of these

And a brother to go with him

But I told them Fluffy is more than enough dog for us to handle

And besides

They have Poppy on this trip

And that’s MORE than enough
